Diversify the Stage (DTS) is an industry initiative led by Noelle Scaggs of Fitz and The Tantrums focused on increasing diverse representation and hiring practices in the live music and touring sectors of the industry. As part of the initiative, a small, select cohort of young women of color will be invited to participate in a series of Music Forward masterclasses this fall semester in collaboration with She Is The Music, Women In Music and SoundGirls.
Diversify The Stage is currently seeking mentors for this select group for 2021, as well as partnerships for future programs with nonprofit programming partners. Never Famous will offer up mentorship opportunities to its membership of experienced tour staffing candidates for the DTS internships.
