Never Famous has partnered with Diversify The Stage to address the lack of diverse representation among industry professionals. The goals of the partnership are twofold: to build awareness of diversity gaps with management companies, agencies, and promoters through direct conversation, and to provide a central, industry-wide resource for tour staffing, direct connections to suppliers, mental health services, and support for underrepresented communities in live music, events, and touring businesses.
This fall Diversify The Stage is teaming up with Music Forward Foundation in collaboration with She Is The Music, Women In Music and SoundGirls to curate the first Diversify The Stage associated programming for Music Forward’s Virtual Fall 2020 Series targeted towards high-school and college-aged young women and youth of color. A select cohort of young women of color will participate in the fall programs and mentorship opportunities to be eligible for internship and apprenticeship placements with Diversify the Stage industry partners.
Diversify The Stage curated sessions will begin the week of October 26th through October 30th and every Friday after.

Event Safety Alliance (ESA), an organization designed to make it easier for their peers to work safely and create safe events. By design, the scope of events considered by ESA is broad and ranges from entertainment to athletic to civic, held in large and small venues both indoors and outdoors. For ESA, the emphasis is not on exhaustively studying each issue, but rather on presenting important safety information in a form that busy event professionals are most likely to use, and that can help them plan and carry out events with a primary goal of life safety.
